Spicy mustard rooster is a hen gravy recipe with fowl objects simmered in a curry comprising of roasted onions, tomatoes, curd and tempered with mustard seeds. Have enjoyable with the spicy rooster curry with typical mustard flavour with rice or appams.
2 tbsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 kg boneless chicken scale back into medium sized gadgets
three large sized onions, finely sliced
4 medium sized tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
three inexperienced chillies , slit lengthways
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp curds (dahi)
1 cup water
salt to fashion
oil for frying
finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing
1. Heat oil. add mustard seeds to it and when they splutter, add fowl.
