Glazed Carrots

 

1 lb carrot (about 6 medium)
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Directions:

1 Cut carrots in half crosswise, then lengthwise into 2 or 3 sticks.
2 Simmer, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
3 Drain.
4 Melt the butter.
5 Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
6 Add carrots.
7 Cook over medium-low heat about 10 minutes, turning often.
