APPLE CRISP DESSERT PIZZA!!

 

Preparation time: 45 min | Cooking time: 35 min | Servings: 6

Ingredients:
For buttery pie crust
All purpose flour – 2 12 Cup (40 tbs)
Sugar – 2 Tablespoon
Salt – 1 Teaspoon
Butter – 8 Tablespoon , shredded
Butter flavored shortening – 12 Cup (8 tbs)
Cold water – 14 Cup (4 tbs)
For spiced apples
Granny smith apples – 5 Large , peeled and diced (4-5)
Brown sugar – 3 Tablespoon
White sugar – 3 Tablespoon
Cinnamon – 2 Teaspoon
Flour – 2 Tablespoon
For topping
All purpose flour – 34 Cup (12 tbs)
Quick cooking oats – 12 Cup (8 tbs)
Brown sugar – 14 Cup (4 tbs)
White sugar – 14 Cup (4 tbs)
Butter – 6 Tablespoon , softened
Caramel topping – 2 Tablespoon (as needed)

Directions:
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

MAKING
For Crust:
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. Add shortening and butter. Cut and mix until the mixture becomes crumbly.
3. Pour water and mix gently until incorporated and dough forms.
4. On lightly floured surface, transfer the dough and knead several times.
5. Into a 12-inch lightly greased pizza pan, press the dough evenly. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
For Spiced Apples:
6. In a large bowl, place diced apples and mix it with sugar, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
7. Spread apples evenly over cold pie crust and set aside.
For Topping:
8. In a large bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and white sugar. Cut in butter and mix until crumbly.
9. Spread topping mixture evenly over apple and pop in oven. Bake for 35 minutes.

FINALIZING
10. Drizzle caramel sauce as soon as it comes out of the oven.

SERVING
11. Cut into wedges, serve with ice cream and enjoy!
