If you like your coleslaw creamy but not sweet, this is the recipe for you. Add a couple of tablespoons of milk if you prefer a thinner dressing; add more mayo if you like it a bit thicker. This holds up well, so your coleslaw won’t turn watery overnight. A classic.
6 cups coleslaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
1 tsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Place coleslaw mix in a large mixing bowl.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream, white sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Taste for seasonings and adjust if necessary.
Pour dressing over coleslaw mix and toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve.
