Adding just a little twist to your regular BLT sandwich. If you like avocado this is a must try.
TIME TO TABLE:
20 minutes prep.
½ of an avocado
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
Juice of 1 Paramount Citrus lemon
Zest of 1 Paramount Citrus lemon
½ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
12 slider buns
12 small pieces butter lettuce
2 Roma tomatoes, cut into 12 slices
12 slices (about 1 lb.) thick cut bacon, cooked
1. Place the avocado, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and black pepper in a small food processor. Pulse until smooth. Set aside.
2. Prepare the sliders by topping each bottom bun with a piece of lettuce and then 1 slice of tomato. Break each slice of bacon in 2 to 3 pieces and stack over the tomato on each sandwich.
3. Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of the mayo over the bacon. Cover with the top portion of the bun and serve.
