2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
6 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
1/2-1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Heat oven to 375F.
2 Combine flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of the sugar in medium bowl.
3 Toss in strawberries, set aside.
4 Beat together eggs, butter, milk and vanilla in small bowl.
5 Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
6 Spoon batter into muffin tins lined with paper.
7 Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of sugar on top of each muffin.
8 Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle of muffin comes out clean.
