Pan full of Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

 

-is stiff competition for even the best batch of brownies. After all, few things hold hands with chocolate like peanut butter does.

Cook Time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 325 F.
Mix together the cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, and eggs in a large bowl.
Press 1/2 to 2/3 of the batter into a 9”x13” pan.
Melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring often to prevent burning. When smooth, remove from heat source. Stir in the vanilla.
Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the crust and spread to cover completely.
Crumble the remaining batter evenly over the surface.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
