Apple Tea Cake

 

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
60 grams * (or 4 TBSP) butter
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
2 apples
cinnamon and sugar for top

Method:

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add flour and milk gradually blending all carefully. Peel and slice apple thinly.

Step 2
Place mixture into a cake tin then arrange apples on top.
Cook for about 40 mins or until skewer comes out clean in a 180 degrees oven. Remove from tin while hot butter the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
