2 large apples (tart apples like granny smith work best)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon flour
Peel, core and cut apples into chunks.
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan with a lid. toss apples to coat. Cook covered over medium low heat for about 20 minutes, until apples are tender but not mushy, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
